Krysta releases powerful new video for “I Miss You”

Krysta Option 3 copy

Shot and directed in Las Vegas, Nevada by David Pichette of Meadows Mixed Media, “I Miss You” brings to life the story of a woman, widowed by war and left behind to raise her family. Through her resolve, we see the strength and hope for the future she has drawn from her journey.

The video also features two very special people in Krysta’s life – Shelby Belle and Cash – Krysta’s beautiful children, who portray their roles impeccably.

“I Miss You” is in part dedicated to fallen military and their families. We encourage you to share the song and video on your website, social media pages and tributes on November 11th.

From csharpmusicpromotions.com:

C Sharp Music Promotions is pleased to announce that they have joined the team of Scott Baggett, Anya Wilson Publicity, On Ramp Records and Marcie Hanson (Live Events) to guide the musical career of recording artist Krysta Scoggins.

“I’m thrilled to be working with Krysta”, says Casadie Pederson of C Sharp Music Promotions. “She’s got one of the most distinctive female voices in our Canadian industry. We grew up just 20 kilometers apart and have actually known each other for almost as many years. We have similar small town values of hard work and commitment. This partnership is going to be a great experience and I look forward to helping her grow her career”.

Adds Scoggins “Building a team of talented industry people who I can trust with guiding my career is very important to me and I think of Casadie as the missing piece of the puzzle. She has a fresh approach and the skillset we need to move forward and is one of the hardest working people I know. I’m really excited to see all the things we can accomplish together and where this musical journey takes us.

Born & raised in Alberta, Krysta Scoggins was deep into music from the very beginning. Residing in Fort Saskatchewan and later in Manville, she was working on guitar and piano skills by age 5, started song writing at 13 and performing for large crowds shortly thereafter. Scoggins headed to the University of Alberta majoring in music education but she could not stay away from live performance. This led to opening slots for Trace Adkins, Emerson Drive, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Jason McCoy, Johnny Reid, and many more. The new album, Shine, features songs that she co-wrote with songwriters such as Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Jason McCoy, Patricia Conroy, Britton Cameron, and Danick Dupelle of Emerson Drive. It features the singles “I’ll Carry You” and “Home”

Krysta’s brand new single “I Miss You”, off her current album Shine, will be released to Canadian radio this Friday (September 27th).
