On Ramp Records are pleased to announce the signing of Krysta Scoggins, which took place at the label’s head office in Nashville, TN. One of Canada’s top Country brands with a very talented roster of artists, On Ramp is now the exclusive label representative for Scoggins and will oversee distribution with EMI Music Canada for her upcoming album Shine, to be released in the summer of 2012.

Joining forces with CCMA and Juno winning Music Row producer Scott Baggett (Alison Krauss, John Waite, The Road Hammers, Jason McCoy) Shine features songs that Krysta co-wrote with such leading songwriters as Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Jason McCoy, Patricia Conroy, Britton Cameron, and Danick Dupelle of Emerson Drive. The lead single, “I’ll Carry You,” co-written by Krysta, Conroy and Cameron, will be released early this May, alongside a stand-out video shot on location in Los Angeles by award-winning Canadian director Warren Sonoda.
