Armed with an amazing voice, phenomenal songwriting skills and undeniable charisma, Canadian country star Krysta Scoggins is an upbeat powerhouse of musical talent! Her sophomore album, Shine is slated to be released this summer; and Krysta is elated to see the vision come to light. “I am so proud of this album!” Krysta says. “Every song has captured a piece of my heart. It’s a labour of love that is reflective of my musical journey.”

Joining forces with CCMA and Juno winning Music Row producer Scott Baggett (Alison Krauss, John Waite, The Road Hammers, Jason McCoy) Shine features songs that Krysta co-wrote with such leading songwriters as Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Jason McCoy, Patricia Conroy, Britton Cameron, and Danick Dupelle of Emerson Drive. The lead single, “I’ll Carry You,” co-written by Krysta, Conroy and Cameron, will be released early this May, alongside a stand-out video shot on location in Los Angeles by award-winning Canadian director Warren Sonoda.
Always bubbling with positive energy, Krysta intends to make the most of every opportunity that life offers and to have a good time while doing it.  She lights up any room and as Krysta herself asserts on the new CD, “its time to SHINE!”
